it was only a while ago that i realised that i could just paint over the backgrounds of my work in diluted acrylic to stain it in colour yet keep the aged effect, instead of creating a flat silkscreen print which might destroy my original drawing if i'm not careful, and there's always the risk . so i got some coffee, and started work, finally.

materials required: acrylic paints, brush,
container, some water, freshly brewed coffee

saying goodbye to the good old coffee coloured background
as i lay it on the ground, as if i'm a surgeon getting myself
prepared for a surgery.

did some tests on a separate sheet so that it
could be put for use during screen printing testing

and there you have it, background in a feint kaya shade of green.

sometimes i'm just too careful and fear that i'll destroy my works.
