Katong Antique House

it was an awesome sight when i walked into the room that was connected to the shop at the entrance, hidden away by a printed cotton curtain. it was like a walk through time as i scanned through the sepia photographs and antique furniture cluttered all around, and despite that, there seems to be a sense of order around.




these are the batik cina i borrowed from Mr. Peter Wee after the visit today.

these are cheek kee cards. Mr. Wee gave me a handful of loose pieces from this bronze plate for reference. it came along with a photocopy of the legend for my reference to its meaning.
