Tung Yue Nang

"The 48-year-old artist has been painting for 20 years.

His strokes have been reproduced on calendars, cards, mooncake boxes and bags.

The end-product may differ but as an artist, Mr Tung always has a common objective.

Mr Tung said: "We have to try ourselves, to do something that no one did it before, create something very original, can represent what you feel and what you think."

Another factor close to his heart - the colourful Peranakan culture, even though he is not a Peranakan.

This is evident in his Peranakan series which have been turned into envelopes.

Mr Tung's series of paintings may take up to 10 or even 20 years to complete but he is more than willing for organisations like Adecco to use his labour of love. "
