TRANSMISSION:EXPERIENCE : Staring At Death Installation

Staring at Death Installation by Michy Witchy featured in TRANSMISSION: EXPERIENCE exhibition.
This artwork is an extension from my drawing, Staring At Death, 2009. The Kites for My Grandpa journal is also displayed as part of theupdated artwork , so as to put the installation into context.
(the person in charge of inserting the description of artwork in my label tag forgot about it :( so it was left blank. )

The Invading plan
I have yet to title these works, and to complete them. I have the fear of destroying the originals, because it would require additional effort to create more(to destroy again?...hmmm).
It is now last minute editing and photoshopping in my best effort to convey my take on the issue.
Oh, and ... my proposal!

baby baba buds
after much thought , i have decided that be it a pencil drawing or a pen drawing, i'm now going to convert them into silkscreens anyway. this means that i can continue drawing in pen, however, the ink used for the printing will be in a hue close to that of my pencil drawings, or an oriental blue like that of porcelain, however here it'll be used as a mourning colour in peranakan culture, to signify my take on the death of the race in due time.
